چکیده
The need for cost effective and ecofriendly means of producing compounds environmental, industrial, other biotechnological applications cannot be overemphasized. Biosurfactant from microbial sources have been identified to the potential substitute chemical types. This has led continuous bioprospecting biosurfactant-producing microorganisms optimization processes high yield biosurfactant production. Despite widespread, levels oil-induced soil pollution in Yola, Nigeria its environs, there is dearth information on application indigenous bacteria In this study, a Bacillus subtilis B3 strain was isolated an automotive oil-contaminated further used production, characterization, activity. partially purified had structural elucidation lipopeptide exhibited surface tension reduction distilled water 72 29.30 mN/m. It also forms stable emulsions between pH 6-8 temperature 60-80 °C, critical micelle concentration 0.65 %. dry weight 0.25 g/L representing 1.6-fold increase comparison with one obtained conventional medium 0.16 yield. finding suggests that bacterial study meet demand bioremediation industrial exploitations.

Biosurfactant production by three Bacillus subtilis strains (#309, #311 and #573) isolated from Brazilian crude oils was optimized based on different carbon and nitrogen sources. The lowest surface tension values were obtained using sucrose containing media for the three isolates. Biosurfactants produced by each strain were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), proton...

Marine biosurfactant-producing bacteria were isolated from the soft coral Sarchophyton glaucum collected from Red sea. The main criteria used for screening of biosurfactant producers were haemolytic activity, dropcollapse, oil displacement and emulsification index. Based on phenotypic characterization and analysis of 16S rDNA sequencing the most potent isolate was identified as Bacillus sp.E34....
